During the visit, our prosthetists took part in a comprehensive presentation and hands-on training session. They learned about the operating principles of the NAVii microprocessor knee, its key features, customization options, and clinical applications. Special attention was given to patient safety, individualized adaptation, and the device's performance across different activity levels.
Upon successful completion of the training, our prosthetists will receive certification authorizing them to work with this type of microprocessor knee.
Following the presentation, the NAVii knee was fitted to our patient, Yevhen Buksha, who tested it in real walking conditions. The evaluation focused on stability, smoothness of movement, and comfort in everyday activities. Yevhen shared his first impressions, highlighting the device's comfort and the confidence it provided while walking.
The event was also attended by Roman Kashpur, an Össur ambassador and user of the company's prosthetic feet. Roman is the first Ukrainian para-athlete to complete all six World Marathon Majors and a winner of international sports competitions for veterans.
We highly value our cooperation with the world's leading prosthetic technology companies. By continuously learning and adopting innovative solutions, we strive to provide every patient with the highest standard of care.
